Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the breathtaking Pieniny Mountains, my recent stay at Hotel Smile Pieniny was a delightful gateway to adventure and relaxation. Although the location had a charming proximity-just a 10-minute walk to Szczawnica's promenade-the spectacular mountain views I woke up to every morning were the real highlight. The Wi-Fi was reliable, allowing my travel companion and me to share our experiences online while planning our explorations, including trips to nearby attractions like the enigmatic ruins of a 14th-century castle. Food-wise, while the menu felt reminiscent of the '80s in its offerings, the dill soup was an absolute standout, making up for the dining nostalgia. Plus, the welcoming demeanor of the bar girl with long hair truly made our time enjoyable, adding a personal touch that made us feel more like friends than guests. All in all, Hotel Smile served not just as a comfortable base but as a canvas for memorable adventures-ideal for anyone seeking to dive into both the cultural and natural wonders of this enchanting region.
